Welcome to Boston DJ Entertainment

Thank you for choosing Boston DJ Entertainment. Previously known as The Boston DJ Company. I decided to change the name in the winter of 2009 when I thought it wrong for one man to refer to himself as a "company". Company sounds big and impersonal. I handle everything from the first call all the way to the last dance. You get the one on one care and attention you deserve and that most "companies" do not provied.

This site is designed to make it painless and simple to help you find the right dj for your wedding. After all I'll decide how your wedding is remembered. When you talk to friends and family who went to a wedding and then had a miserable time, what's the first thing they say. "The music was horrible". Then they go on to talk about how it was too loud or the songs he/she played were lousy, stuff like that. Nothing abut how beautiful the ceremony was or how fabulous you looked in your dress or tux, how delicious the food was....no "the music was terrible". When you think of it, the reception is the last in a series of events that make up the whole wedding process. In guy terms your wedding is like the Patriots 2006/2007 season. You can win every game and have a perfect season, break records and be considered the greatest team ever but when you lose the Super Bowl you stink and that's what everyone talks about and that's all they remember. Don't let that happen to you. I'll help you win the big game and have everyone throwing you a parade afterward and I'll do it all without cheesy props & corny games. I let the music entertain your guests. If you have a dj that knows what songs to play then they shouldn't have to resort to those tactics. We'll meet about a week or two before your wedding and go over all the details. First dance, last dance, cake cutting, special dances, how to say all the required names properly, anything and everything that needs to be done to take the pressure off you so you can actually enjoy the day. Let me worry about everyone having a good time and keeping the party going. Below I outlined some of my finer points that have satisfied past couples:

* I'll take care of all the announcements in a clear and professional manner so everyone knows what's about to happen.
* I won't talk over the music and give my two cents about what's happening on the dance floor.
* Once the music is turned up, the lights are dimmed and the dancing begins my mouth is shut (until needed of course).
* I'll arrive about an hour before the reception starts to make sure everything is ready to go and the music's playing when your guests arrive.
* Your hours of charged services starts when the reception starts (ex. 7-12). If I arrive early to set up that's on my dime. You don't get charged extra for that.
* I can provide an extra speaker system for ceremony or cocktail services that are in different parts of the reception location . Ceremony music & Microphone included.
* There's never any hidden costs. All extra charges are laid out before hand and added to the contract. If you decide to ad extras after the contract is signed then a new one is drawn up and re signed. I won't be like the IRS and come to you after and say "sorry you didn't pay enough I need more".
* All my music is 100% digital & computerized with back ups in place incase of emergencies. No cd's that can skip.
* My system is compact enough to fit in a corner but powerful enough to fill the largest halls ("nobody puts baby in the corner")
* All songs are edited for appropriate content and are by the original artist or a higher quality remake.
* I go by a strict "Do Not Play List" given to me by you and under no circumstances will any of those songs be played, unless you say so of course.
* I'm the person you deal with from the first phone call or email to the end of the night. I don't have a team of dj's that I contract out that don't know anything about you or your wedding.
* I don't get sick on your wedding day. There's enough medicine out there that I can take to make it through the day and then pass out and die afterward.
* I only do one wedding per day. Yours! You're my top priority and if you want me to stay late because everyone's having a good time then I have nothing else to do but keep the party going.
* My # 1 rule is simple. It's your day. What you say goes.
